A cleaner in a Lagos hotel identified as Mercy Peter is crying out for help as she has been relieved of her job after an unfortunate incident happened on Thursday morning.
The N35,000 salary earner was sacked because she was accused of an act she allegedly knew nothing about.
Mercy was accused by her boss of being a witch and ritualist plotting the downfall of the hotel.
Her boss filed all these accusations against her after a big black snake was discovered on the bed of a client’s room she had cleaned the previous day, being Wednesday.
She sorrowfully wondered on how she didn’t get to see the snake while cleaning and why was it her boss who saw it this morning.
She assumed it to be a set up by the receptionist to blackmail her.
If the snake had sunk its fangs into the client, its venom would have paralysed him and stopped blood from clotting.
He would have collapsed within a few minutes and if not taken to hospital to be given antivenom, he would have died.
Unfortunately, Mercy has been fired and is set to appear in court to prove her acclaimed innocence.
