The successful recovery of seven-month-old Abdul Fatai Edu, who was kidnapped from Epe, Lagos, has been attributed to the timely and impactful reporting by EKO HOT BLOG.

The incident, which occurred last Friday, saw chaos erupt in Epe when Abdul Fatai was abducted by a neighbor, Jimoh Barakat Tolani.

Tolani had persuaded the infant’s mother, Mistura Edu, to allow her to take the child to Ayetoro Market, promising a quick return.

However, Tolani failed to return, and hours turned into a full day with no sign of either Tolani or the baby.

The situation worsened when Mistura Edu sought police assistance and was reportedly detained under suspicion of orchestrating the abduction.
