How God Called Me to Become The First Bishop of Cherubim and Seraphim – Sir Shina Peters

Legendary Afro-Juju musician, Sir Shina Peters, has revealed that he was ordained as a bishop through divine calling.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that In 2021, the veteran artist was ordained as a bishop at the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of God in the Iju area of Lagos State.

Speaking to reporters on Friday in Lagos, Peters explained that the church leadership had received divine instruction about his ordination. He shared that this message came years before he accepted the calling.

He stated, “The Almighty God told me that I should be made the first bishop of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of God. He told the church leaders. God said this because I am the only musician who has consistently used hymns in my music and performances, winning many souls for Christ through it. You know, my music is often based on hymns.”
