Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, Ogungbe, fondly called Baba Keke, revealed that 2Face’s immense popularity attracted significant attention from women. To protect him from distractions, the label took measures to limit his exposure to such interactions.
“When 2Face was with us at Kennis Music, we ensured he didn’t see the girls who came looking for him,” Ogungbe shared. “They were always around, but we shielded him. After he left our record label, there was nothing we could do about the situation anymore.”

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ogungbe also addressed the jokes made by comedians about 2Face’s reputation as a womanizer during his peak years. He chose not to intervene, emphasizing that 2Face was a grown man capable of making his own choices.
“Even when comedians turned him into the butt of jokes for being a womanizer, I didn’t question him. He’s a mature man. Every man has his cross,” Ogungbe remarked.
2Face often made headlines for fathering children with multiple women at the height of his career. However, he eventually settled down, marrying Annie Idibia, one of his baby mamas, in 2012. Their union remains one of the most celebrated love stories in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
