Eko Hot Blog reports that a mother of four, Elizabeth Olaniyonu, has been allegedly beaten to a pulp by her husband, Shuaib Quadri, over the husband’s extramarital affairs.
According to a eyewitness, trouble started about 1am on Thursday when Elizabeth confronted her husband about his incessant phone conversation with his suspected “side chick” (mistress).

The confrontation resulted in a heated argument between the two. The eyewitness said Shuaib consequently descended heavily on his wife, leaving her eyes battered, along with several other injuries all over her body.
The eyewitness added that the victim’s husband hurriedly stormed out of the house an hour after the incident with their 5-year-old son and all his belongings, including their gas cooker.
Elizabeth, 44, who spoke with Eko Hot Blog, disclosed that Shuaib, 52, has subjected her to this kind of near-death experience on numerous occasions. She recalled that something similar had led to their temporary separation in 2020.
The most recent case has however been reported at the Oja Odan office of the Ogun State Ministry of Woman affairs and Social Development for necessary intervention.
Efforts to reach Mr Shuaib for comments proved abortive as calls to his telephone number were rejected.
