“I Am Very Much Satisfied With The Government”–Wike

FCT Minister Highlights Progress and Public Assessment of Performance

  • The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that only the public can assess his performance in office.
  • He expressed satisfaction with the government’s overall efforts and progress in the FCT.
  • He mentioned the Presidential Monitoring Team as a key body to evaluate achievements against set targets.

During a visit to the construction site of the Justices’ Quarters and its road network, Wike praised the progress.

The FCT minister noted that significant work had been completed, including major culverts around the quarters.

He expressed confidence that the project would be ready by May 2025.

“The work at the Justices’ Quarters is impressive. The roads and structures have come a long way since our last visit, However, generally I am satisfied with what the government has done, and as it relates to FCT, I can say that I am very much satisfied” Wike said.

He commended the contractor for their efforts and thanked President Bola Tinubu for trusting his team to restore hope to Nigerians.

Wike also inspected the construction of an interchange at Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway, connecting Ahmadu Bello Way to the Gishiri community.

The Rivers State born- politician  urged residents to cooperate to ensure the timely completion of the project, which aims to improve access to Mabushi, Katampe, Jahi, and Kado Districts.
