I Didn’t Go Anywhere – Tinubu Dismisses Rumour Of Him Leaving The Country (Video)
Following the rumours that the National leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, Bola Tinubu had travelled out of the country in the wake of the Lekki toll gate attack, the former governor has come out to clear the air.
Recall that earlier this week; the APC chieftain was alleged to have had knowledge about the Lekki attack with rumour claiming he left the country for France while another rumour claimed he was in his house in London.
Tinubu in a statement on Saturday while with Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed to the press that he didn’t go anywhere.
A reporter asked him,
“We were told you in London, you were in France, when did you return?”
TINUBU: I didn’t go nowhere, I am a Lagosian, and then I still hold the title of Asiwaju of Lagos and I am still a Jagaban.
Tinubu went on to call for proper investigation into the attack at Lekki.
Tinubu statement read as thus; “I still hold the title of the Asiwaju of Lagos and I’m still the Jagaban.
“Whatever they think, fake news is all over the place, they said Seyi my son was kidnapped and chased out in London but he is here.”
It was gathered that the assets in Lagos State linked to Tinubu were attacked during the protests that was hijacked by hoodlums.
