Different people come up with different gifts when it comes to celebrating birthdays with their children. For an outspoken comedian, I Go Dye, it is the gift of a mansion for his son, Roy for his ninth birthday.
The Delta State comedian, who is known for blaming his rugged looks on the poor choice of his parents, took to Instagram yesterday to post pictures of a mansion he said is dedicated to his son.
According to him, the house is a gift for his birthday as an expression of the “essence of shelter”.
For I Go Dye, the gift is even more significant when he recalls how “some of us grow up” without shelter.
“This GOLDEN SEAL CASTLE Birthday gift is just a step for you to achieve greater things in the future and praying that God should grant this privilege to many others.
“May this little gift bring forth hope to many children, who may not be privileged to have good shelter, nurturing in them that everything is possible.
“I can’t define the future but I will try to bring more than a million smiles to your life, by bringing your dreams closer at all times by the grace of God. #happybirthday my prince Roy Agoda,” he wrote as part of a lovely post.
