The statement came after an Instagram user made a joke about planning a wedding with the actor, leading to his response on his Instagram page.

The 35-year-old actor, who is still dealing with the aftermath of his messy break-up with his ex-fiancee, Fancy Acholonu, posted a picture on his Instagram story.
Responding to the post, a lady commented that she was looking for money to “marry him properly.” She went on to write, “Let all this scarcity of money go first so that I can marry you properly @alexxekubo.”
The comment prompted Alexx to declare that he has “removed his hands” from anything that could lead to marriage.
Alexx Ekubo wrote back saying: “I have removed my hands from anything that will lead to marriage.”
This comes after his highly publicized engagement with Fancy Acholonu, which ended abruptly after three months. The couple had been together for five years before the split.
Confirming their separation, Fancy took to her Instagram page to request privacy, stating that they both needed to find happiness and live their truth. Fans of the couple were shocked at the news, and it led to a lot of speculation and rumors about the cause of the breakup.
Alexx Ekubo has been in the entertainment industry for over a decade and has appeared in several Nigerian films, including the recently released film “A Sunday Affair”. He has also won several awards for his acting and modeling work.
