I Love The Speculations — IK Ogbonna On His Divorce From Ex-wife

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nollywood actor and model, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IK Ogbonna, has spoken up about the cause of his divorce from his ex-wife, Sonia Morales, stating that the reason for the separation is all speculation.

The actor, who has been divorced since 2019, revealed that he had never made public the real cause of his divorce to Sonia, contrary to speculations that it was due to infidelity on his part.

Speaking in an interview with The Punch, Ogbonna said:

“I have never said the cause of my separation; it has been all speculation and I would like the public to hold on to those speculations if they choose to do so. My private life doesn’t necessarily concern the world, but what I choose the world to know is what I make the public know about me.”

The actor went on to say that he and his ex-wife were still friends and that the fact that things did not work out between them did not necessarily mean that they had to fall apart. He added that he was not discriminatory when it came to relationships and had dated across religions and tribes.

Ogbonna also spoke about the possibility of getting married again, stating that he was certainly going to get married again but only to someone with particular characteristics and personality that he could hold on to. He said, “If the worst comes to worst, I can hold on to this lady and move on.”

The actor concluded by saying that he would not discriminate when it came to finding love again and that he was open to any possibilities, but he would only consider someone with qualities that he was looking for in a partner.
