“I Stood By Him When He Was In Prison”, Eedris Fires Back At Festus Keyamo

  • The feud between the two icons, a politician and a Nigerian artist is getting more interesting, the musician has come out to tell his own side of the story.
  • Festus Keyamo called the singer out last night on Twitter

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has accused popular Nigerian singer and activist Eedris Abdulkareem of double standards, and he released evidence to show that Eedris Abdulkareem actually sought to join the Buhari administration in 2018.

This came after Eedris Abdulkareem called out Festus Keyamo in his new song ‘jagajaga reloaded’ saying “Where Festus Keyamo sef? He don chop with cabal o”.

This obviously made the minister take the step to reveal what the musician begged him for in 2018. He made this revelation via his Twitter page,  EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

After his tweet, the minister released a couple of screenshots that showed that the singer actually begged him for money, and said he wanted to assist the Buhari administration in 2018.

In response, Eedris Abdulkareem made a post on his Instagram page. In the post the singer did not deny sending those messages to Festus Keyamo.

In his post he claimed that he reached out to Festus Keyamo when his mother was dying but got no help. He also stated that he thought Festus Keyamo was a comrade who could effect change in the government in 2018, but was disappointed that he joined the cabal and became an inner caucus.

Eedris Abdulkareem went on to link the minister to the Lekki Toll Gate incident. He said all this made him return to the studio for his song.

The musician stated that the issues he raised in his song “Jagajaga reloaded” are facts.
