Maitland- Niles admits that he was rotting away and badly treated while at arsenal under Mikel Arteta and therefore believes his move to Westbrom was a perfect fit to shorecase his capabilities.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , The 23 years old has been a Bench warmer at Arsenal this season starting only five of premier league matches before he joined the baggies in January transfer window.
Niles has so far impressed under Sam Alardyce and therefore he was keen to leave Arsenal for a fresh breath of air because his career was stalled.
“It was just more of a chance for me to show what I’m capable of rather than sitting on the bench for the rest of the season and rotting away”, Niles told Sky sport.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will be looking forward to continue with their winning ways as Arteta’s side are currently tenth in the premier league standings.
