I Will Dredge River Niger To Boost Economic Growth – Atiku

Atiku has promised to dredge of River Niger to boost Economic growth.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has promised to dredge the River Niger to boost trade and economic growth of the commercial people of the southeast.

According to him, if elected as president next year, he would improve the standard of living of the southeast geopolitical zone through better security of lives and properties to spur an economic boom.

This online media platform gathered that the PDP flag bearer, who made the promises at the party’s campaign flag-off in Anambra State, noted that the Onitsha Port would be activated, adding that good road networks would be constructed in the state and other parts of the region.

Atiku also promised that $10 billion would be earmarked towards enhancing small and medium-scale businesses and also to empower millions of youths.

He submitted, “We will give adequate attention to the issue of insecurity that has given Nigerians cause for worry across the nation.

“I urged Ndigbo to cast their votes for me and the party in next year’s polls for purposeful leadership in the country. I want to appreciate the party leadership, members and supporters for the massive turnout.

“I urge them to replicate the gestures with their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to vote for the PDP.”

Also speaking at the event was his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, who appealed to the people of the state to work hard for the party’s emergence at next year’s general election.
