EKO HOT BLOG reports that Lionel Messi, Paris Saint-Germain forward, has announced his intention to return to Barcelona after he retires from professional football.
He considers Barcelona as his home and spent 17 years of his successful career at the club from 2004 to 2021.
During his time at Barcelona, Messi established himself as one of the greatest footballers in the club’s history, winning numerous titles including the UEFA Champions League and La Liga.
In an interview with Olé (via Albiceleste Talk), Messi stated:
“It’s my home. When I finish my career, I will return to live in Barcelona.”
Lionel Messi if anything will continually be associated with the La Liga side for as long as he remains in the football conversation, and it is only fitting his story ultimately ends at Barcelona when all is said and done.
