Ibadan Celebrates As Makinde Receives Praise For Oluyole 2024 Police Games Success

With over 4,000 police officers from across Nigeria, including the Inspector General of Police (IGP), converging in Ibadan for the event, the city once again demonstrated its status as a trailblazer.

According to a statement by Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori, President of Ibadan Mogajis, and Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade, Coordinator of the Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative, Oluyole 2024 was hailed as one of the best-organized events in the history of Oyo State. They emphasized its positive impact on the economic development of Ibadan and the state as a whole, with eminent Nigerians gracing the occasion.

Governor Makinde received accolades for his pivotal role in ensuring the success of the games. The statement specifically mentioned the contributions of Hon. Ogunwuyi, Chief of Staff to the Governor, and Rtd. CP Fatai Owoseni, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Security, in guaranteeing a seamless and secure sporting event.
