Controversial Nigerian street hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola Omoolalomi popularly known as Portable has reacted to his absence in the highly publicized street concert in Ibadan.
EkoHotBlog earlier reported that Ibadan based Fuji artistes, Taye Currency was the brain behind the concert which held on January 2nd.
Few days ago, a Video surfaced online where Portable was seen apologizing to the people over a comment he made about the entire Oyo State not having houses with Plaster of Paris (POP)
However, Portable’s eventual absence stirred debates among netizens on social media.
Reacting to his absence at the concert, Portable lambasted Taye Currency and the people of Ibadan.
According to him, the whole idea was a set up to cause drama if he shows up. He added that he charges between 10 million and 5 million for a show but his manager told him that he only got a paltry 1 million naira.
He said:
” What can 1 million do for me in this time and age. It can’t take care of my security and all my music band. They didn’t even send vehicle to come pick me up”
Continuing, Portable said the money wasn’t enough to buy even Kilishi.
Taye and Portable
He further alleged that the own plan was to set him up against the Ibadan people but he didn’t fall for it.
