Ibadan Fire: “We Will Restore Power Soon” -TCN

Following a fire breakout in a transformer at Ibadan on Wednesday, Usman Muhammed, Managing Director of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), has assured that power will be restored to affected areas.

The MD who was represented by the head, Transmission Service Provider, Engineer Victor Adewumii, made this known having visited the Ayede power station on Wednesday evening.

He said: “When things like this happen, it affects the general public but we are working hard to ensure that this kind of incident does not happen again.

“By the grace of God today (Tuesday) we are going to restore some light back to the general public,” he said.
