EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN, Ikorodu & District Society has concluded plans to inaugurate its 9th District Chairman.

The event slated for Saturday, June 25th would experience the emergence of a reputable female Chairman, Princess Kafilat Omolade Hassan, at the prestigious Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Billed to grace the occasion is the 58th ICAN President, Mallam Tijani Musa as the organisation seeks to organise a fundraiser for the execution of the proposed Examination Centre in a nearby suburb, Imota.

This online media platform gathered that the Chairman, an Assistant Chief Accountant in Lagos State Local Government Commission in Ikorodu Local Government, became an associate member of the ICAN in 2011 and was conferred with the fellowship status in 2022.

The noteworthy community development enthusiast has, before her investiture, served the institute in various capacities.

She has been an executive member of the District since 2012. She is also a member of the examination family serving as an invigilator and assessor.

In addition, Princess Kafilah has served in the Public and Image Committee of the institute while she also held sway as the Chairman, Food and Drink at the recently concluded Western Conference at ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

To her credit, she is the newly appointed Chairman, Western Zone of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
