Igbo Presidency 2023: Aniebo Nwamu Reveals “Cure For All”
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Aniebo Nwamu, a veteran journalist on Thursday asked all persons of Eastern extraction to move to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) if an Igbo does not emerge the flagbearer of any of Nigeria’s top two political parties – the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressive Congress (APC).
“If an Igbo doesn’t emerge flagbearer of either APC or PDP, all Ndigbo should move into APGA and give its candidates 100% of their votes. That’s the cure for all,” Nwamu said via his known Facebook.
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, there is a growing clamour for the people of South-East zone to produce the next President of Nigeria.

The calls for power to shift to the south have further triggered permutations and realignments in the polity. Both the PDP and the APC have strong candidates from the south, but these candidates have their respective baggage and the parties have internal squabbles that must be resolved.
