In a recent interview with the BBC Yoruba, a Yoruba king discussed the strange happenings in Nigeria.
The king Oba Adetokunbi Tejuosho, the king of Orile Kemta in Egbaland, spoke extensively about what the Yoruba must do, particularly because killings and abductions are rampant in Nigeria.

The king blamed the events on Nigerian governments, saying that they are not serious about coping with the country’s problems.

We were successful because we did not notify the government.
We deliberately do not notify the Nigerian government because if we do, they will instruct us to send the case to Abuja, allowing the hoodlums involved to flee.
Nigeria is now in a situation where each state must have autonomy; if this is followed, all state leaders would handle each crime appropriately.
