Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho breaks Chelsea’s Legend FA cup record with the double against Manchester United.
Iheanacho who plays for an English Premier League, Leicester City was at his very best when he faced a strong Manchester United side and helped Leicester City qualify for the semi-final of the FA Cup.
He scored twice and assisted one to help the foxes kick the Red Devils out of the Emirates FA Cup.
Kelechi Iheanacho two goals against Manchester United saw him broke a record set by a Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba. His two goals saw him overtakes Didier Drogba to become the African player with the most goals in the FA Cup.
Didier Drogba held the record of an African with the most goal (12) in the FA Cup before leaving Chelsea in 2012 before Iheanacho broke the record.
2. Ronaldo‘s special moments ruined by Benevento.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be in pain after his special moment ends in disaster after a 16th-placed Benevento defeated Juventus at the Juventus Stadium to ruin Cristiano Ronaldo’s special appreciation match.
Juventus presented Cristiano Ronaldo with a special jersey with the description “GOAT 770” to celebrate his milestone of reaching a career goal of 770.
Cristiano Ronaldo last week broke football legend, Pepe record of most career goal in football history when surpassed the Brazilian to register 770 career goals.
Juventus FC decided to honour their star player with a special jersey but the match ended in disaster as they lost to Benevento which saw them go 10 points behind Inter Milan who had one outstanding match that could see them extend their lead.
Inter Milan could extend their lead 13 after the international break and with only 10 matches left it’s unlikely for Ronaldo and Juventus to win the Serie A title this season.
3. “Sack Ole”, “Ole Out” trends as Angry Man United fans call for a manager change.
Angry Manchester United has attacked club’s manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Red Devil’s elimination in the FA Cup. Leicester City defeated Manchester United 3-1 with Kelechi Iheanacho scoring a brace to ensure the Red Devils were eliminated from the competition.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started with a weaker lineup which gave the Foxes an edge and he had to make four substitution at once in a bid to turn the game around but his plan backfired as Kelechi Iheanacho scored late to seal the game for the Foxes.
