Ihedioha heads for Germany’s Festival on sustainable development

Barring any unforeseen circumstance, the Imo State governor-elect, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, will today, depart Abuja for Bonn, Germany, to honour an invitation to participate at the United Nations Global Festival of Action on Sustainable Development.

According to a press statement by Ihedioha’s media aide, Mr. Chibuike Onyeukwu, “the governor-elect, as a Special Guest Speaker, will deliver an address at the event taking place on May 2 to 4 at the World Conference Centre, Bonn, Germany”.

Onyeukwu further disclosed that “in his quest to explore investment opportunities for the state, he will also hold strategic meetings aimed at seeking the cooperation of several development partners from all over the world, who will attend the event.”

The Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development is “a ground-breaking annual event of the United Nations SDG Action Campaign, with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the German Federal Foreign Office and other development partners.”
