The Lagos State Government has said that it is ready to make final decision and comeback on the Ikorodu Sub-region master plan For public examinations and stakeholder contributions.
The Honourable Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Idris Salako made this known in a speech on modalities of public display exercise on Friday in Alausa, Ikeja. He noted that the public display would take place for 28 days in 12 different centres accross the state. He said the display exercise would start on Monday, 24th August and would end on Wednesday, 30th September.

Salako explained that, the display centres would include Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat, the Lagos State physical planning permit authority (LASPPPA) district office along beach road, Ikorodu and the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban development, Secretariat, Alausa,Ikeja and LASPPPA headquarters, old secretariat, Ikeja.
The Commissioner however stressed that the goal of the plan is to ensure characteristic and environmental stability of the Ikorodu Sub-region to engender development of Lagos state and socio-economic development of the state.
“The input of the people was gemane
to the sustainability of any development plan, therefore I urge all members of the affected local government areas to visit the various inspection venunes between 9:00am and 4:00pm on only working days to exam the report and submit their observed inferences” he added.
