This year’s event promises to be fun-packed, educational, and memorable, offering an array of thrilling activities for children and families.

Attendees will enjoy bouncing castles, face painting, a popcorn stand, yogurt, cake cutting, food and drinks, and much more.

The highlight of the day will be the arrival of Santa Claus and other circus characters, who will delight children with gifts and performances.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, expressed his excitement about creating a memorable experience for the children.

“This funfair is more than just a celebration. It’s about bringing our children together to share in the joy of the season while fostering a sense of community.

We are committed to ensuring the happiness and well-being of our younger generation,” said Otunba Anomo.

In addition to the children’s festivities, the event will include a widows’ empowerment program, highlighting the council’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups within the community.

“Our goal is to spread love and hope to everyone in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, especially during the festive season.

The widows’ empowerment program is a significant part of this initiative, as it reminds us of the importance of compassion and support for one another,” noted a representative of Akanke Foundation.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their children to the funfair to experience the unique blend of entertainment and education.

According to one of the organizers, “This event is designed to leave lasting memories for the children while teaching them the value of sharing, joy, and community spirit.”
