Anomo took the opportunity to express gratitude to all stakeholders, including council executives, legislators, staff, and residents, for their support since the administration began.
“I deeply appreciate your cooperation since this administration started, and I urge you to sustain this support as we transition into the next phase of our development agenda,” he added.

“The essence of this retreat is to critically examine the financial status of the local government, enhance our Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), and utilize federal and state allocations efficiently.
“Under the progressive leadership of our Chairman, we are determined to bring innovative solutions to the challenges of our community,” Aremu said.
She also called for collective efforts to boost the council’s IGR, describing it as a critical factor for sustainable development.
The Council Manager, Mr. Sunday Awobajo, commended Chairman Anomo for his visionary leadership and people-centered governance.
“Your leadership style has created an enabling atmosphere for everyone to thrive.
Working with you has been fulfilling, and I can confidently say you are the kind of leader every administrator wishes for,” Awobajo remarked.
He urged all participants to bring forward innovative suggestions to improve revenue generation, ensuring that the 2025 budget performs optimally.
“This retreat is an opportunity for all stakeholders—departments, units, and revenue officers—to contribute meaningfully to the success of this budget.
Together, we can position the council for even greater achievements,” Awobajo added.
