Eko hot blog reports that In a significant boost to electricity supply across Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, the Executive Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has announced the acquisition of three new 500KVA power transformers.
This initiative aims to address longstanding issues with power outages and improve the quality of life for residents.
The newly acquired transformers will be installed in Ododugba Community (Ward Q1), Mosafejo Community (Ward E2), and Otta-Ikosi Community (Ward F1).

These areas had previously requested assistance due to the malfunctioning of their existing transformers, which had hindered local economic activities.
During the official handover ceremony at the Council Secretariat, attended by the Councillors of the respective wards—Hon. Hassan Mustapha (Ward E2), Hon. Wahab Qudus (Ward Q1), and Hon. Ganiyu Selim (Ward F1)—Akogun Wale Raji Anomo reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the power supply issues. He emphasized that under his leadership, no community would be left without electricity.
This addition of three transformers brings the total number procured under his administration to twelve 500KVA transformers and one 200KVA transformer.
The Council has also supported the energizing of some transformers and allocated funds for repairs, highlighting its dedication to providing a stable and reliable electricity supply throughout the LCDA.
