Addressing the gathering, Oba Ogunsanwo expressed his happiness, praying that the title will bring good fortune to Ilara Kingdom.

“I greet you all – kings, chiefs, the Anifowoshe family, and everyone present. I’m very happy today. I gave her this title a year ago in God’s presence and the presence of men, and today we’re doing the official conferment. This title shall bring fortune to you and to this kingdom,” the monarch prayed.

He highlighted Yeye Mofin’s exemplary representation and education, emphasizing that titles are reserved for individuals of great contributions to the kingdom and prayed for her.

Oba Ogunsanwo said, “Yeye Mofin has been representing us well right from childhood till she’s grown, and she’s still doing great. She’s well-read and educated. We don’t give titles to just anyone. We give titles to people who deserve it – great people. We’ve honored many great people in Epe and individuals in the political sphere of this country as Chiefs due to the tremendous contributions they’ve made to this kingdom.

“I pray that as you become the Yeye Mofin of Ilara Kingdom, you will prosper, you will do more, and bring upliftment to this kingdom. You shall not regret getting this honor, and I won’t regret giving this title to you.”
