“I’m Happy, Free from Distractions,” Says Mohammed After Tribunal Judgement

Eko Hot Blog reports that Following the Tribunal’s judgment, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, expressed his contentment and relief from ongoing litigation distractions.

Chaired by Justice P.T. Kwahar, the Tribunal recently affirmed Mohammed’s victory and dismissed claims against him for lacking merit.

In his acceptance speech, Mohammed acknowledged, “Our victory today is by the grace of Allah who gives power to whom he wishes and takes it without consulting the holder. We are once again reminded that all power is held in trust on behalf of God.”

He continued, “In the nature of things, many of our supporters would expect me to jubilate over the verdict that has just confirmed the overwhelming mandate that they freely gave to me at the last governorship election in the state. Naturally, I am relieved and happy that this distraction has been put aside.”

Mohammed extended an invitation to his opponents, urging them to set aside their differences and join him in the collective effort to harness the state’s vast resources for the creation of a modern economy that benefits all residents of Bauchi State, known as Nigeria’s pearl of tourism.
