I’m Really Sorry For You — Simi Hits At Husband’s Detractors

  • Call it spousal privilege, but Adekunle Gold is one lucky man to have wife, Simi taking on his detractors on social media.

  • Adekunle Gold was recently accused of plagiarising Burna Boy’s style by a Twitter account.

  • In response, Simi picks up word with the account, dragging the page to the cleaners with her remarks.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigerian songstress, Simi, has taken to social media to defend her husband, Adekunle Gold, after a Twitter user accused him of plagiarizing Burna Boy’s mannerism and style.

The drama began when the Twitter user shared a photo of Adekunle Gold celebrating with Nigerian fighter, Israel Adesanya, and friends after a victory.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

The user claimed that Adekunle Gold copies Burna Boy’s “posture, smile, and glasses.” Reacting to the tweet, Simi clapped back at the accuser, suggesting that people who have good things going on in their lives never engage in such behavior.

“People that have good things going on in their lives really never do shit like this,” Simi wrote.

She went on to suggest that those who come on the internet to talk nonsense about others are likely to have sad lives and are merely distracting themselves.

“And that’s a fact for everyone. When you come on the internet talking nonsense about anyone minding their damn business, your life is most likely sad and you’re distracting yourself. So it’s you I’m sorry for,” Simi added.
