Eko Hot Blog reports that when he visited some alleged kidnapping hotspots in the Obinze community and other areas of Owerri West yesterday, Hon. Onyeagucha made the call. He vehemently decried the situation and voiced displeasure with the area’s increasing kidnapping incidents.
He decried the increasing number of kidnappings in Obinze and some areas of Owerri West as regrettable and repugnant, and he pledged to work with the pertinent security authorities to see that they are addressed.
He urged the inspector general of police to ensure that all necessary security measures are put in place to guarantee the safety of lives and property in the area as the people now live in fear.
Onyeagucha urged the people of Obinze and neighbouring communities to be vigilant as efforts are being made to address the situation.
