Ekohotblog reports that the people of Imota Kingdom, Lagos State, came together in a grand celebration as His Royal Majesty, Oba Mudashiru Ajibade Bakare Agoro, the Ranodu of Imota, marked his 74th birthday on Thursday, September 12th, 2024.
The occasion was filled with tributes and well-wishes from prominent figures, groups, and the community at large, reflecting the deep respect and admiration for the monarch’s leadership and contributions to the growth of Imota.

In a congratulatory message, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru and his wife, Mrs. Feyisola Abiru, praised Oba Ajibade Agoro for his fatherly guidance and exemplary leadership.
The Senator highlighted the monarch’s efforts to promote peace and prosperity within the kingdom and wished him a long and fulfilling reign.

Similarly, the Vice Chairman of Imota LCDA, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, extended his warmest felicitations, acknowledging Oba Ajibade Agoro’s dedication to the progress and welfare of the Imota community.
He described the monarch as a “beacon of hope” whose reign continues to inspire unity and development.
“Your selfless service and invaluable contributions have brought immense joy, growth, and development to our people,” Ayodele said.
The Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Lagos State 3rd Republic, and Chairmanship Aspirant for Imota LCDA 2025, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Gbotifa, also joined in celebrating the revered monarch.
Representing the Imota Tuntun 2025 team, Gbotifa commended the king’s steadfast leadership and wished him many more fruitful years in good health and sound mind.
“We are joining millions of people to celebrate and rejoice with our King on the occasion of your 74th birthday,” Gbotifa stated.
The Imota Ayayo Development Association, through its president, Dr. Kunle Awolaja, added to the outpouring of tributes, emphasizing Oba Agoro’s unwavering commitment to the preservation of Imota’s cultural heritage and sustainable development.
Awolaja noted that the monarch’s leadership had been instrumental in guiding the community through periods of growth and progress, and he looked forward to celebrating the 38th Anniversary of Imota Ayayo Day under the king’s visionary leadership.
