IMOTA LCDA RESIDENTS COMMENDED FOR PEACEFUL CONDUCT DURING PROTESTS
Ekohotblog reports that the Executive Chairman of Imota LCDA, Prince Wasiu Kunle Agoro, has praised the residents for their peaceful conduct during the recent nationwide protests.
In his statement, Prince Agoro highlighted the commendable behavior of the community, which has helped maintain a tranquil environment amidst the nationwide unrest.

Prince Agoro expressed appreciation for the restraint shown by students, youths, women, artisans, public servants, various groups, unions, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and security agencies in Imota.
Their decision to abstain from the protests reflects their commitment to peace and lawfulness, thus averting potential violence reported in other regions.
The Chairman emphasized that the community’s choice to forgo participation in the protests and continue their daily activities in an orderly manner signifies their trust in the APC-led administration and their willingness to give the government additional time to address welfare concerns.
Prince Agoro also extended his gratitude to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for his efforts in ensuring security, which has been pivotal in maintaining the state’s peaceful atmosphere.
He acknowledged the numerous projects initiated by the Sanwo-Olu administration, which, according to Prince Agoro, reflect the support and positive relationship between the state and the federal government.
The Council Chairman urged residents to engage in constructive dialogue and unity, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to resolve national issues.
He encouraged the community to continue their normal business activities and remain peaceful throughout the protest period.
Prince Agoro concluded by asserting that the peaceful state of Imota LCDA is a result of the collective decision to protect their community and heritage, highlighting the motto of “No To Protest & Destruction.”
