The 70th birthday celebration of veteran Nigerian actor Prince Jide Kosoko was a colourful and glamorous spectacle as the celebrant’s friends, family, and well-wishers enthusiastically celebrated him for achieving the milestone.
The two-part birthday celebration, which held on Sunday, January 14, 2023, started with a Thanksgiving Service in church where Prince Kosoko and his family danced and thanked God for the grace to attain the important age in good health and wealth.
The celebration concluded with a grand reception at his residence where his friends, family, and well-wishers dined with him.
Born on January 12th, 1954, Kosoko is a Nigerian actor, director, and producer. He hails from the popular Kosoko royal family in Lagos which explains why he holds the traditional title of Prince.
He began his acting journey as a child actor in 1964 and has graced the screens in numerous Nollywood films till date, showcasing his impressive mastery in both English and Yoruba languages over several decades.
