An inaugural party has been held in honour of Princess Aderemi Adebowale who is newly appointed by Lagos state Governor, Mr.Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu as the Special adviser for the office of Civic engagement.
Ekohotblog garnered that Princess. Adebowale had her education at Ireti boys and girls school, Ikoyi, bagged a degree in political science and education from Lagos State University (LASU) and a Masters in public health from International University, Bamenda, Cameroon.
In 2016, Princess Adebowale was appointed a Sole administrator for Iru/Victoria Island and She is also a successful entrepreneur.
Those in attendance to felicitate with her were Family members, Paramount Rulers, APC stalwarts, Lagos state House of Assembly former and serving members.
One of her friends described her as a woman who is always committed and dedicated to service to humanity.
According to Princess Adebowale, she said: “I am very happy and feel honoured to be counted worthy to be among the cabinet members that will serve under Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat.
“I feel very excited because I know I will be able to contribute my quota and truly impact the next level in Lagos state.”
She added, “I am ready to work and liaise with the people in the grassroots and also promise to give the best to whoever has the opportunity to pass through my office regardless of who they are as I work in line with directives of duties assigned to me.”
In a related development, Yoruba tennis club, Lagos organized a party in honour of Akeem Fahm on his reappointment as Commissioner for Science and Technology.
Alhaji Fahm served in this capacity under former Lagos state Governor, Akinwunni Ambode.
Those in attendance to celebrate his reappointment were family members, Yoruba Tennis Club members, Colleagues and friends within and outside Nigeria.
According to the Chairman of Yoruba Tennis Club, Arc. Olawunmi Agbaje, the celebrant is a complete gentleman whose love and passion for the development of Lagos State is unequaled.
Similarly, Engr. Kunle Badmus who has been a childhood friend to Alhaji Fahm described him as a very honest and dedicated man.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of science and technology, Mr.Segun Adeniji also described him as a humble gentleman who is reappointed for his sterling performance under the former Lagos state Governor.
In his response, Alhaji Fahm expressed his heartfelt appreciation to friends and families for honouring him, saying that they contributed effort, time and money in the June 12 struggle which brought them together.
He, therefore, promised to do more as he is reappointed to retain his position in the Ministry of Science and Technology.
