Indian Man Slits Open Pregnant Wife’s Belly To Check Baby’s Gender

A 43- year-old Indian man, has sliced open the belly of his pregnant wife to confirm the gender of their baby.

The man identified as Pannalal, committed the hideous crime against his pregnant wife Anita Devi on Saturday night at their home in UP’s Budaun district.

According to reports, Anita’s family told investigators that the husband attacked and cut open her stomach to the gender of the child, leaving her in a pool of blood.

Our reporter confirmed that the baby in the womb was unhurt, while Anita was rushed to the hospital as her condition declined due to excessive bleeding and servers senate inside her body.

Anita has been admitted to Safdarjung hospital, Time of India.com reports.

However, the man who feels remorseful for his action pleaded that it was a mistake.

He said, “I have five daughters, one of my sons is dead. I know that children are the gift of God. Now whatever is to happen, will happen.”

Meanwhile, he has been arrested by the police and will be charged after further investigation.
