INEC Begins Uploading Of Presidential Results On Portal

• INEC has begun uploading Presidential results on their portal.

• Over 2000 polling units have been uploaded.

• The INEC was previously accused of refusing to upload the results.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the upload of the 2023 presidential results on its website.

According to Punch, the electoral body as of 10:45 pm on Saturday has uploaded results from a total of 2,060 out of the 176,846 polling units.

This is coming hours after the Labour Party (LP) accused INEC of refusing to upload results of the presidential elections collated in various polling units in Lagos and Delta states to the Central Server.

The National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure raised the alarm in a statement released on Saturday.

Abure claimed that officials of the electoral body, in connection with security agencies are claiming that the BVAS has suddenly developed a fault and therefore cannot function.

According to Abure, information from the party’s field men has it that in places like Agege, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Surulere, and Ibeju Lekki, amongst others where results show that Labour Party won convincingly, the INEC officials claim that the BVAS suddenly developed a fault when it concerns uploading results of the presidential election.
