INEC Issues Certificates Of Return To Kano State Governor-elect And State House Of Assembly Members

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented the Certificate of Return to Kano State Governor-elect, Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
Recall that Yusuf defeated Nasir Gawuna of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March 18 governorship election.
INEC National Commissioner, Professor Abdullahi Zuru alongside the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Ambassador Abdu Zango, presented the certificate to Yusuf at the Commission’s head office in Kano.
The INEC officials also issued certificates of return to the Deputy governor-elect and members-elect of the State House of Assembly.
Present at the ceremony on Wednesday are the state Chairman of NNPP, Haruna Umar Doguwa, a chieftain of the party, Shehu Sagagi, and other party leaders.
