Infertility affects several couples in our society. It can put undue pressure on marriages. You and I know that some marriages have broken up because of this one problem.
Sometimes the man goes out to test his potency to prove to the wife that he’s not impotent after all. Sometimes pressure comes from the in-laws, and they bring a new wife from the village who is more fertile to come and displace his wife.
Homes have been broken. Families have been torn apart because of this challenge of the fruit of the womb.
1. Infertility is a couple’s problem and not a woman’s problem
That’s the first thing we all have to settle. When there’s infertility, it’s a problem for both the husband and wife, not just the husband or wife alone. If we understand that, we will stop playing the blame game.
2. No Solution Without Agreement
If the husband and wife don’t come into agreement, it will be difficult for them to achieve pregnancy as long as they continue to fight. The husband and wife must come to a total agreement, knowing that they have to fight this battle together.
3. The problem Can Be From Either Spouse
Scientists tell us that when there’s infertility in marriage, one-third of the time the problem is either with the man or the woman. The problem can also be from both of them, or they don’t even know the problem, so it is equitably distributed.
If there’s any blame to bear at all, both of them will share it equally. However, sharing blame is not going to solve the problem. Looking for a way out of the problem is the most important thing.
4. Infertility versus sterility
Infertility talks about a situation where a man is capable of impregnating a woman and the woman is capable of getting pregnant. Unfortunately, somehow pregnancy is not happening

Maybe due to one thing that has developed along the way. Sterility refers to a situation where a man is not capable of getting a woman pregnant because his reproductive system has been tampered with.
This could be from birth or after he was born, and so he’s sterile. He can no longer impregnate a woman. A woman can be sterile when she can no longer conceive scientifically.
