Ini Edo Celebrates Child’s Second Birthday With Adorable Photo Debut

EKO HOT BLOG reports that on Thursday, veteran Nollywood actress Ini Edo celebrated her daughter Light’s second birthday by sharing a photo of her on social media.

The 40-year-old actress, who bore her only child by surrogacy, posted the photo with her daughter’s face hidden, describing Light as “the most precious, adorable little girl” who has brought comfort and joy to her life.

Ini Edo went on to express her gratitude for her daughter’s birth, saying, “On the 15th of March 2021, God blessed me with the Greatest Gift and my biggest heart desire. A Shining LIGHT and the most precious, adorable little girl. I never knew how much my life would change and how much comfort and Joy a human could bring… My smart and loving Princess, I love you more than life itself.”

The Citation actress then dedicated her daughter to God and wished her an abundance of grace and wisdom as she turned two. In her post, she also revealed that she had chosen surrogacy to fulfill her dream of becoming a mother.

Ini Edo was once married to Philip Ehiagwina, and their marriage lasted from 2008 to 2014. She later revealed in an interview with blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus that she still has a good number of frozen eggs in case she decides to do surrogacy again or carry a baby herself.
