Insecurity: ‘War Against Terror Will Be Won’ – COAS To Abike Dabiri

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao has said that the Nigerian Military is on course to exterminating the activities of bandits and other criminal elements in the Northeast and other parts of the country.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the Chief of the Air Staff was speaking when he received the Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa at the Nigerian Airforce Headquarters in Abuja.

Air Marshal Oladayo Amao believes that with the professional competence of the air service men and women and a well boosted morale, the terrorists and their kind will be brought to their knees.

Amao said that NAF is willing to collaborate with Nigerian Professionals in diaspora in relevant fields as it is imperative to tap into the enormous skills of Nigerians all over the world particularly in the area of technology transfer.

The Air Marshal also commended the NIDCOM Boss for her relentless efforts in ensuring that the enormous skills and talents of Nigerians in the Diaspora are reeled in for the purpose of National Development.

Amao further assured of maximum support to ensure that Airforce Officers get the best professional training abroad, including those provided by diaspora Nigerians who are professionals in the field.

The NIDCOM Boss, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in her response thanked the men of the Nigerian Airforce for the immense sacrifice they continue to pay in service to their country.

She extended her condolences to the Nigerian Airforce on the loss of officers who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty.

Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa also applauded the Nigerian Airforce for their intervention in bringing back stranded Nigerians in the Diaspora, particularly from neighboring African countries.

The visit to the Chief of the Air Staff by the Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa is coming ahead if the proposed Diaspora Defence and Security Conference.
