Contrary to claims made by former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Intels Nigeria Limited has said that its business decisions have not been influenced by political differences or the present government.
Eko Hot Blog reported on Monday that Intels cut ties with Atiku after he sold his shares but the latter have blamed the Buhari-led administration for trying to destroy the company owing to political differences.

However, Intels in a statement issued by its spokesman, Tommaso Ruffinoni, said the decisions were devoid of political calculations.
The statement said the company had “always operated according to market logic” and had at no time been politically influenced.
“The ongoing contradictions are part of a natural commercial divergence, which will hopefully be resolved, as in the past, by a new approach, in the interest of all the parties, also according to the social role that Intels plays in the country,” the statement added.
