Eko Hot Blog reports that Nigeria’s former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, met in Abuja on Tuesday evening.
It would be recalled that Atiku was the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded 2023 general election. Kwankwaso on the other hand was the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
The two political rivals, however, met yesterday behind closed doors. The agenda of the meeting which took place at Kwankwaso’s Abuja residence is unknown as at the time of reporting.
Speculations .are that the two political gladiators might be meeting to consider forming a formidable opposition against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government led by President Bola Tinubu.
