Investigative Journalist, David Hundeyin Detained In Zimbabwe
Eko Hot Blog reports that famous Nigerian investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, has been detained at Harare Airport, in Zimbabwe.
The controversial journalist announced this via his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday night.
He said the officials detained him for entering the country without a visa.
According to him, the Zimbabwean airport officials said his nationality is still Nigerian, despite “using the travel document of a country with a visa-free relationship.
Hundeyin said his “return flight to Addis has been rescheduled for tonight,” adding that he is “ready to hop on my flight and never come back to Zimbabwe for the rest of my life.”
