IPOB Breaks Silence On The 16 ESN Members Killed By The Army And Police In Abia

  • Recently, the Nigerian Army deployed combat helicopters, gun trucks, and soldiers to search some forests in the South-East states where the ESN was suspected to be camping.
  • It was reported that Nigeria Army and Police stormed South-East Forest, killed 16 Eastern Security Network (ESN) Operatives.

The Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) has reacted to media reports that the Nigerian Army and police killed 16 Operatives of the ESN in Aba, Abia State.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the attack on the ESN group was a response to the attack on security operatives in the South-East region.

IPOB in a statement signed by it’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful said the security agents are lying and they did not kill any ESN operatives.

He claimed that ESN is out to defend and protect the people of the South-East and their forest, and said that the report that the security operatives killed 16 ESN members are false.

The group also asked the Nigerian security agents to publish the exact camp of the ESN they attacked and show videos and photos of their operatives.

Emmanuel Powerful also added that,

“Police and Nigerian Army should show pictures or videos of those ESN operatives they killed. Army, Police, air Force including all other security outfits in Nigeria cannot do ESN anything. Not when they killed innocent citizens and they tagged them ESN operatives”
