Irish Police Shut Down Naira Marley’s Dublin Concert

Irish police officers were forced to shut down a concert being headlined by controversial Nigerian musician, Naira Marley, on Sunday in Dublin, Ireland.

According to Dublin Live, the music fest was shut down on the early hours of the day by the police after a gang of youths were spotted fleeing the concert scene as Naira Marley, reportedly on a mini-European tour, mounted the stage to perform.

A police spokesman said: “Gardai are investigating an incident where a large number of male youths congregated outside a premises on Adam Court, Dublin 2 at approximately 1am on 7 July 2019.

“A number of offensive weapons were located after the youths departed and were seized by Gardaí.

“One male in his early 20s was arrested and was charged in relation to this offence. Investigations are ongoing.”
