Isese: Judge Cautions Against Unauthorized Use Of His Photos For Evil Purposes

Eko Hot Blog presents that Mr. Sunday Adeniyi, the Presiding Judge of the Kwara state Upper Area Court, hearing the case involving Abdulazeez Adegbola, also known as Tani Olorun, has issued a stern warning to both Muslim adherents and Isese Worshipers to refrain from seeking his photographs, which they allegedly intend to use for malicious purposes.

Adeniyi, who is overseeing the criminal defamation case between Abdulazeez Adegbola, aka Tani Olorun, and Chief Ademola Olawoore, the Oluwo Nla of Tede, delivered this warning in Ilorin on Wednesday while considering the bail applications of the two defendants.

The case involves Tani Olorun and Oluwo Nla facing five charges, including criminal conspiracy, inciting public disturbance, disturbance of public peace, criminal defamation of character, and intentional insult before the Court.

Speaking in Yoruba, the Judge emphasized, “I want to warn the parties in the case and their followers to stop searching for my photographs. I’m not the one that brought you to Court. I’m only the Judge, and I will do my duty as required by the law.”

He continued, “I have sworn an oath that I will perform my duties as provided by the Constitution. If you want to be fetish and practice your black power, you should direct it to yourselves or to your counsels but not to me.”

Adeniyi concluded by stating, “Leave me alone to do my job. I will be fair to all the parties. If I do it, and you feel that it falls short of expectations, leave God to do the final judgment.”

When the Court reconvened to rule on the bail application, Adeniyi displayed a Spectacle Camera, which he stated had been confiscated from someone in the Court, indicating, “This is the Spectacle Camera that was being used to take our photographs.”

For Chief Ademola Olawoore, Oluwo Nla of Tede, the second defendant in the case, the Judge granted bail in the sum of N500,000 and required two sureties in the same amount, with one owning property within the Court’s jurisdiction.

However, the ruling on the bail application made by the counsels to Tani Olorun was postponed until Monday, September 25, 2023. Defense counsels for Tani Olorun presented their respective bail applications earlier in the proceedings.
