Israel, Hamas Speaks On Temporary Ceasefire

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Hamas on Monday denied reports of a temporary ceasefire in Gaza.

There had been reports that the war between Israel and Gaza was ceased to enable humanitarian aid to come in and foreigners to leave at the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt.

A statement released from Netanyahu’s office reads, “There is currently no ceasefire and humanitarian aid in Gaza in return for removing foreigners.”

According to CBS, Hamas official, Izzat El Reshiq also stated that there was no truth to reports about the opening of the Rafah border crossing or temporary ceasefire.
