Israeli Airstrikes Claim 13 Lives in Gaza, WAFA Reports
A devastating night in Gaza has left at least 13 Palestinians dead and 15 wounded, as Israeli strikes targeted a school sheltering refugees and a residential building.
The Palestinian Authority’s official news agency, WAFA, reported that eight of the fatalities occurred in refugee tents at the Halima al-Sa’diyya School in Jabalia, northern Gaza.
The Israeli army claimed responsibility for the strikes, stating that they had targeted terrorists operating within a Hamas command and control center embedded in the school compound.
However, the consequences of this action have been catastrophic, with innocent lives lost and many more affected.

In a separate incident, an Israeli strike on a residential building in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza claimed the lives of five Palestinians.
This latest bloodshed is a stark reminder of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has seen over 40,800 Palestinians killed and nearly the entire population of 2.3 million displaced since October 7 last year.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is dire, with at least 1.9 million people internally displaced, some for the tenth time.
The world watches in horror as allegations of genocide are levied against Israel at the World Court.
As the conflict rages on, one thing is certain – the people of Gaza continue to suffer, and their cries for peace and justice echo across the globe.
