Famed British singer Adele has announced that she is taking a sabbatical.
The 16-time Grammy winner shared the news with fans during her concert in Munich on Saturday, explaining that she needs “a rest.”

Adele noted that after working tirelessly for the past seven years, it was time for her to enjoy the fruits of her labor.
“It has been amazing, I just need a rest. I have spent the last 7 years building a life for myself, and I want to live it now,” she she told the audience.
This announcement comes shortly after Adele confirmed her engagement to her American boyfriend, Rich Paul.
