EKO HOT BLOG reports that Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is set to release the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to Daily Trust, the JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, will address a press conference on Monday, during which he will touch on the 2024 UTME results and other issues surrounding the exam’s conduct.
However, this online media platform knows that JAMB will release the results on Monday for candidates who participated in the UTME in the first few days, while it will release others’ results after completing “due diligence.”
JAMB’s delay in releasing the UTME results results from the necessity to carefully scrutinize them to ensure their credibility and integrity.
Remeber that the 2024 UTME exercise started on Friday, April 19, 2024, and is set to end on Monday, April 29, 2024.
Meanwhile, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has advised candidates who faced glitches during the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to stay calm as they will receive rescheduling for another exam.
He disclosed that the board envisaged that some centres would experience certain technical glitches, and arrangements are in place to accommodate candidates in such centres who may be affected.
Oloyede gave the update on Friday while fielding questions from newsmen after monitoring the exam in Kogo-Bwari, Abuja.
